About Me
Hello, I'm Rakesh Soni
I was born in the mid-80s in a small village called Jhariya, which is in the middle of the Thar Desert. I’ve lived those days of no water supply and no electricity in hot summers where the mercury touched 49℃ (~114℉). Those days when a camel was the only means of transportation; when I used to wait weeks to receive letters from relatives; and when I’ve seen generation after generation struggling against poverty. But those days shaped who I am today. Built my belief. Helped me find my passion. Made me gritty.
